Ignyr ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data when you use the Ignyr mobile app.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of data:
- Account information — name, email address, and profile photo when you sign in with Google, Apple, or email/password.
- Usage data — streaks you create, completion history, and habit names you enter.
- Purchase data — premium subscription status managed through RevenueCat. We do not store card or payment details.
- Device data — device type, operating system version, and app version for diagnostics.
- Analytics events — anonymous usage events (e.g. screens opened, features used) via Firebase Analytics.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and sync your habit streaks across sessions.
- To manage your premium subscription and unlock premium features.
- To display your streak count on the community leaderboard (display name only — never your email).
- To send optional habit reminder notifications (only if you grant permission).
- To improve app performance and fix bugs using anonymised analytics.
3. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with the following service providers who help us operate the app:
Firebase (Google LLC) — authentication, cloud database (Firestore), and analytics. Privacy policy →

4. Data Retention
Your account data is retained for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion at any time by contacting us. Anonymous analytics data is retained for up to 14 months per Google's standard retention policy.
5. Children's Privacy
Ignyr is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with their data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
6. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate data.
- Request deletion of your account and associated data.
- Opt out of analytics tracking (via device settings).

7. Security
We use industry-standard security measures including Firebase's encrypted data storage and HTTPS transport. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of Ignyr after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
